An early biography of the band written by a rock journalist that worked for various publications including NME. He uses mostly his own 
interviews with the Who as source material for the book. There is a 17 page chronology at the back of the book that goes through
July 1974. Although not nearly complete it lists many gigs, radio appearances and important events in the bands career.
